  1. This game was terrible. The frame rate bottomed out to zero every time I shifted. Also the final level is cheap as hell since they spread out the checkpoints so much. Also, this game can't even lick the ass of Hotline Miami. Hotline Miami is amazing. This game is not. I wanted my money back for this game after finishing it.

  2. Framerate drops are very noticeable in Switch to the point that it almost frustrates me esp when I was surrounded by enemies.

Delays are obviously present there. Often I died because of this issue

  3. Game often freezes for a second or two (Switch). REALLY annoying and potentially deadly in hectic fights. Only one asset set, what you see in the video is all you'll ever see in this game. Very little enemy variation (one shoots more frequently, the other moves faster.. you get it). Story is almost nonexistant. Overall underwhelming amount of content that drags down the otherwise solid game mechanics. Oh and soundtrack is an estimated 3 tracks done in garage band.

Dear Luis, I really appreciate you reviewing all new Switch games since I'm hungry for new software, but please be a little more attentive and detailled in your criticism.

  4. Finally someone that mentions no hard mode. Which I've been waiting for, but it sucks to know there isn't one. With no co-op, extra difficulty, short campaign length…I find it hard to justify it's price at $14.99. No thanks.

  5. I've played through most of Mr Shifty, and It is a great game, I don't think a harder difficulty without weapons would be as good as they do make you feel much more powerful and they are very fun to use. I think an gamemode with waves of enemies would be very fun, there are sections a bit like that throughout the game already.
It also offers you lots of ways to kill your enemies. Make them shoot eachother, make them shoot barrels, kill them yourself, use proximity mines to blow a large amount of them up, etc.
The game also masterfully forces you to develop your combat and quick shifting skills with sections of the game entirely dedicated to lasers or proximity mines.
A useful thing I found is that until enemies start shifting, you're better off with a held weapon rather than a throwing one such as the shield or metal bar. However after that point it is very useful to throw metal bars, as held weapons aren't everywhere during the shifting enemy area.

  6. This looks like a game based off the opening to the second x men movie. Where nightcrawler is in the White House

  7. Still waiting for Steep launch date. This looks fine but Steep on the go is a must have.

  8. Great Review! Btw, at 0:18, you said the price was 19.99, but it's actually 14.99. Just a little hiccup. Again, great review!

  9. Thanks for the review. Was going to pick up on Switch, but not anymore since it's 30fps. I have other systems, but don't think I'd play this if it isn't portable.
