Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus Review

  1. This is a really good review. I see it for a good price and I do love no auto saves…

How long is the game in terms of hours play through?

  2. I've been noticing this game go on discount numerous times on PSN and I'm always on the fence, I'm indecisive if I should take the plunge and get it. This was a well thought out and informative review, the lack of auto-saves is sort of a deal breaker to me. I would probably throw a tantrum if I had to start from scratch because of some reasoning like I died in the game. I've been meaning to play something that is retro and this looks like it may scratch that itch. Hmm, decisions, decisions…

  3. Look, I understand the frustration of the crash. But a game that harkens back to old-school, retro 2D style action platformers that doesn't auto-save.. that seems to be the point. Hopefully by now the game has been patched, but the crash is an issue with the programming. The lack of an auto-save is a non-issue.

  4. If you are fans of retro games, this game is awesome, heavily inspired by Zelda 2 for the NES.

  5. Whoa whoa wait a second…… You didn't save at all for the first couple of hours until it crashed? That's 100% on you buddy. I agree though that the crashes are annoying. It's only happened to me a few times but luckily I know how to save. lol

  6. dude Ive played this game and havent even made it to a single boss…whoops. Still a very fun game

  7. the lack of autosave really isn't a big deal, if anything this game is generous. saving whenever I want makes things feel easy when compared to something like metroid where I'm going from save point to save point
