Classic Game Room reviews GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES for Japanese Sega Dreamcast from SNK. This 1999 fighting game (released in 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast) is the last videogame in the Fatal Fury series from SNK. Garou Mark of the Wolves features solid SNK style fighting game gameplay with a solid roster of characters with a variety of fighting styles. Beautiful backgrounds full of motion and texture highlight the well rendered characters as they pound the snot out of each other in this uber-challenging game. This CGR review of Garou Mark of the Wolves for Sega Dreamcast has Garou Mark of the Wolves gameplay in HD (also available on Xbox 360 in Xbox Live Arcade as Garou MOW) showing Dreamcast Garou: Mark of the Wolves game play in action.

  1. Never got the chance to play this on Dreamcast, or any home console that it's playable on but I did buy it for my phone to take on the go and I love it. I'm a fan of Jae Hoon, and Kim Kaphwan if I'm playing Fatal Fury/KOF. Thanks for reviewing these awesome SNK titles!

  2. I wish this had been released on the Wii Virtual Console like Samurai Shodown II, King of Fights '98 and The Last Blade 2 were.

  3. I keep my copy for Dreamcast of this fucking awesome epic game, since i was a kid i'm a HUGE SNK lover, and getting back in the day this game when Neo Geo AES was fucking expensive (and still it is) and playing it home…man what a wonderfull experience! I keep playing it from time to time and i'm nowhere as good as i was but hell it is super fun to play!

  4. This beats the hell out of anything made by SNK or Capcom in the years that followed, both Capcom and SNK were in their prime in the Dreamcast era. Capcom had Street Fighter III 3rd strike and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 while SNK had Garou Mark of the Wolves and The Last Blade 2. Sometimes I think I may actually enjoy Mark of the Wolves more than third strike, I think it's just the most fun of the two, Third Strike is the better game of the two but I feel more compelled to play Mark of the Wolves when I want some quick action.

  5. I miss this style of Classic Game Room. I completely forgot about this channel when youtube effectively FUCKED everybody over by forcing them to use real names or make new youtube accounts. Unfortunately this is one that slipped away from me for a few years.

  6. I got this on my PSP thanks to some research, it's a tremendous game – great mechanics and superb animations.

  7. I need to get the PS2 version of this one, it's the Fatal Fury I've been relegated to MAME with.

  8. Futaba Hotaru: The Inventor of Shoryu Orgasma! (Just do her special move and see what I mean!)
