  1. I don’t want to start a debate/riot here, both were good consoles.try google yourself to know more about them. besides things were changed a lot to ps3 since its launch and propelling better exclusives.but at the end of the day both consoles games are almost identical.so decide yourself & choose wisely!.

  2. X-box is awsome and im pretty sure it is compatible with modchip i have both and i prefer xbox if u like gaming but if u like movies ps3

  3. If you wana pirate games you can only flash your 360. However I wouldn’t, it voids your warranty, and with a 360 you need one. 1/3 of 360’s break within their first year, supposedly the Jasper Chip fixed this overheating problem, however it didn’t.

If you do buy a 360 and want to download games there usually 7GB each I’ll warn you.

People cry the PS3 has got no games, I’ll prove them wrong. PS3 has Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Resistance Fall of Man, Resistance 2, Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Agent, MAG, Ratchet and Clank and heaps more.

The 360 has. Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Halo 3 and Forza 3. The rest of the 360 games are on PC so are not exclusive. PS3 has by far the best hardware with built in wi-fi, HDMI ports in every model, Bluetooth and the blu-ray player.

With a 360 you need to buy a 150 buck wi-fi adapter (AUD) and pay 90 bucks a year for XBOX Live to play online. The playstation network is free and does not “suck” as bad as some 360 fanboys say it does. Infact its comparable to the 360.

The PS3 has a magnificent photo gallery application to view your photos in most formats and it has a really good music player. You can support the foundations that are running to cure Folding Diseases (some cancers) by running a program on the PS3. The PS3 also has a built in Web Browser. If you want you can put Linux on the PS3 and turn it into a computer.

The most important thing about the PS3 is the blu-ray player. The blu-ray player plays pretty much all things, from audio CD, to DVD’s and then blu-ray. Incase you don’t know blu-ray will soon overtake DVD’s and in a few years you will need a blu-ray player (as DVD’s will be progressivly phased out, like VCR). The other good thing about blu-ray is the disc can hold 50GB on a dual layer disc while DVD can only hold 9GB. This makes a difference in gaming as much more detailed textures and features can be included in the game.

The other great thing about the PS3 is the processor. It is really great and makes loading a breeze. An example of where this comes into play is GTA IV. In the PS3 version there are heaps more pedestrians and cars on the streets and in the 360 version, as the PS3 can handle more.

So the PS3 does not run on a modchip yet but probably will soon. You can flash the 360 firmware which voids your much needed warranty and then play games you download on it. ALthough you can lots of the time get a lifetime ban from XBOX Live if your playing a pirated game.

Be wise and get a PS3. I love mine dearly and its probably the best hting I have ever gotten. Even my friends with 360’s admit the PS3 is better after playing on it. All the people who say 360 probably have never played the PS3 or are fanboys.

  4. get a 360 u can flash it and do alot of cool things to it. just look at mine

  5. Buy both! Both are very good systems. Right now it makes more sense to own an XBox, as they have more games and more downloadable content. In a few years however, i bet ps3 will be the long lasting system though, as it has more capabilities.
